Tailoring instruction to meet the diverse needs of learners is difficult enough in a face-to-face environment, let alone in the digital world.  Ironically, remote learning often (inadvertently) shines a spotlight on the varying needs of our students and leaves teachers wondering if it’s possible to move all students forward while attending their different learning needs.  This interactive webinar will feature digital tools that can help teachers engage, support, and challenge diverse learners in an online setting. It will feature examples from real classrooms, modeling, and practice.  Participants will experiment with digital tools and “meet” with colleagues of like-teaching assignment to discuss how they might be adopted or adapted for students in both traditional and project-based learning environments.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES

Participants will learn be able to use digital tools to:

  • Monitor student progress and check for understanding.
  • Provide targeted feedback in an efficient manner.
  • Motivate students through voice and choice
  • Maintain a healthy and collaborative online learning environment.

WHO SHOULD ATTEND

This seminar is applicable for K-12 teachers, administrators, instructional coaches, counselors, and other educators that support classroom instruction.
