Learning & the Brain goes to California every February for its Winter Educational Conference in San Francisco and every July for its Summer Institute series in Santa Barbara.
This year’s conference in San Francisco will be on the topic of “Teaching Generation AI-Z: Advancing Learning Brains in an Age of AI, Distractions, and Uncertainty.” This educational conference will be held at the Fairmont San Francisco atop Nob Hill with Jean Twenge, David Eagleman, George Couros, Yong Zhao, and more than 40 other speakers. Over 1,500 educators and clinicians from around California, the United States, and the world are expected to attend.
Learning & the Brain also has an annual series of summer institutes for teachers, administrators, clinicians, and college instructors in Santa Barbara. Located two hours north of Los Angeles, these summer institutes take place on the oceanside campus of UC Santa Barbara. These one-week institutes are limited to 45 people, involve active participation, and are designed to give participants in-depth information and strategies to bring back to their school, district, or practice.
These education conferences and summer institutes provide professional development for K-12 and university level educators.
