Resilience is often a buzz word in education. For sure, we all want to develop resilient and motivated students. But how do we actually do this? What does the research actually say?  In this highly interactive session, InnerDrive's Claire Badger will take you through the latest and greatest research, leaving you with lots of practical tips and strategies. This will include, but is not limited to, how to develop resilient environments, how to improve intrinsic motivation, enhancing student self-control, the role of feedback, and the impact that peers have on student motivation.

Dr Claire Badger is the Head of Teacher Professional Development at InnerDrive.  A former assistant head in charge of teaching and learning, she now specialises in helping schools and colleges develop their evidence-informed practice. Her main area of focus is on cognitive science, teacher development and maximising CPD within schools.
