And to communicate that development to others?<\/p>\n<p>You&#8217;re not alone.<\/p>\n<p>The Mastery Transcript <a href=\"http:\/\/www.mastery.org\/\" target=\"_blank\">Consortium<\/a>\u00a0seeks to accomplish these very goals.<\/p>\n<p>The plan itself is layered and intricate; if you&#8217;re interested, it&#8217;s worth your time to read <a href=\"https:\/\/www.insidehighered.com\/news\/2017\/05\/10\/top-private-high-schools-start-campaign-kill-traditional-transcripts-and-change#.WRLtb2p0apg.twitter\" target=\"_blank\">this article<\/a> from Inside Higher Ed.<\/p>\n<p>At present, the plan is in its very early stages: no schools currently use it, because it doesn&#8217;t yet exist. But, having just gotten a $2 million dollar grant to develop it, the consortium is hopeful that they have launched a movement that can reshape the educational landscape.<\/p>\n[Full disclosure: this plan has been developed by Scott Looney, head of Hawken School outside Cleveland, OH.
